Coconut oil - such a useful product. Use for a salve to stop infection, heal a burn, weight loss, for your hair, skin, cooking...such a long list, right?

Expeller-pressed coconut oil is not heat treated, so none of the helpful components have been damaged. It has antibiotic properties. Applied to a wound, it helps heal and prevent infection.

For cooking: use in place of any other kind of oil. It makes such a wonderful consistency bread....oh yum. It's more moist (but beware, it cooks about 5 minutes faster).

For weight loss, swallow a tablespoon before a meal as an appetite suppressant.

To alleviate those pesky, unsightly blemishes from you face or arms, rub in coconut oil over the affected areas.

Or, apply it all over as a lotion. My husband absolutely LOVES my skin after I've applied it!

For shiny healthy hair, come through after washing your hair. (Place a nickel-sized amount in your hand, rub between hands gently, then comb through ends of your hair...avoid the scalp if you have naturally oily skin.)
